In "Cold Rain and Snow", she's combing back "her" yellow hair. Also, "Cold Rain and Snow" can't be the answer to any question snow_and_rain asks. I learned that one the hard way. ;)

Peggy-o is traditional. Not an original.

Women's hair figures in a number of songs. Annie with her long brown hair, Cherise was brushing her long hair gently down, Peggy-O and the unidentified evil wife ... and of course the touch of grey.
And "it's just a box of rain, or a ribbon for your hair ..."
Delilah with the coal black hair ...
Am I missing any?

Oh, the woman in Dreadful Wind and Rain also has long yellow hair!
